Privacy policy

This site is made of static pages, with no account and no advertising. This policy describes the information processed, the audience measurement and how consent is obtained, the handling of messages sent to the company, and the rights of the people concerned, under Moroccan law 09-08.

Site publisher

World Video Distribution (WVD), 24, Rue Moulay Rachid, Rabat. contact@worldvideodistribution.ma, +212 5 37 73 21 52.

What the site collects

The site processes two categories of information, for distinct purposes.

Information you enter. Those of the contact form: on sending, they pass through our sending function, hosted by Vercel Inc., then go straight to the mail server of our own domain. No third-party sending service is involved. The site has no accounts and no advertising.

Traffic information. An audience measurement tool counts visits and identifies the pages consulted, where the visitor came from, the type of device and the time spent. This processing relies on cookies set in your browser, and it starts only after your express agreement. No measurement takes place until you have accepted, and no advertising profile is built.

Recipients and retention

Your messages arrive directly in the World Video Distribution inbox and are read only by the teams your request concerns. They stay internal: no sale, no transfer, no unsolicited canvassing. They are kept in our mail system like any business correspondence, for three years from the last exchange, and deleted before that term on simple request from you.

Contact

When you contact us by phone, by email or through the form, you willingly pass on the information needed to handle your request. These exchanges are the ordinary correspondence between a company and the person it deals with, serve only to answer your request, and are never transferred to anyone.

Technical logs

The site’s host may keep technical connection logs (IP address, date and time, pages consulted) for security and correct operation, following standard hosting practice. They are not used for commercial purposes.

Applications

Applications sent to contact@worldvideodistribution.ma are reviewed by management and by the technical leads for the role concerned. The file, curriculum vitae included, is kept for two years from the last exchange, so that we can come back to you when a role matches your profile. It is deleted before that term on simple request from you.

Cookies and audience measurement

A cookie is a file set in your browser when a site is consulted. This site uses two categories, only one of which is subject to your agreement.

Consent cookie, exempt from prior agreement. A first-party cookie named wvd_mesurerecords your answer to the banner so that it is not asked again on every page. It contains that answer alone, it is kept for six months, and setting it is what makes your choice effective.

Audience measurement cookies, subject to your agreement. They are set by Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Their purpose is single: to produce traffic statistics that let us understand which pages are consulted and improve the site accordingly. The service’s advertising and personalization features are switched off, and the IP address is anonymized before any recording.

Obtaining your agreement. On your first visit, a banner offers two answers of equal standing, accept or decline. No measurement cookie is set and no call is made to a third-party service before you accept. If you decline, or close the banner without answering, measurement stays inactive.

Withdrawing your agreement. Your decision can be changed at any time through the Manage cookieslink at the foot of every page. Your browser settings also let you decline or delete cookies already set; the site works the same either way.

Google Maps location map. On the Contact page, the map only loads if you click “Show the map”. Google (Google Ireland Limited) then receives the technical data of your connection, including your IP address, and may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Without that click, the map sends no data to Google.

Transfer outside Morocco. Traffic data is processed by Google on servers that may be located outside the Kingdom; that transfer only takes place after your consent. The information in the contact form passes through our sending function, hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, United States, for the time it takes to reach the mail server of our own domain. These transfers take place under the contractual framework offered by each provider.

Retention. Traffic data is kept for fourteen months, after which it is deleted by the service.

Your rights

Under Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of personal data, you have a right of access, rectification, objection and deletion regarding the information you have passed to us. To exercise it, write to contact@worldvideodistribution.ma. You may also refer the matter to the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP), the Moroccan data protection authority.
